About Bourget, Ontario
Bourget , Ontario is a small village located in eastern Ontario. Bourget was famous in the 1920's for the logging of white pine. After many years of logging, Bourget, Ontario was left with a barren sandy area known as the " Bourget Desert". The area has now been reforested with Bourget planting up to 1 million trees. The area is known as the larose forest.
